Sandi is a professional artist who recently opened Old Oak Studio in Boston, Georgia, where she paints and hosts classes. She is one of six artists with work on display in the Accidental Gallery in historic downtown Boston.
Before retiring in 2010 and moving to the Thomasville area, she was director of a non-profit medical foundation in Kansas City, Missouri. Earlier in her career she served as adjunct faculty for San Jose State University’s School Social Work and John F. Kennedy’s Graduate School of Psychology, both in the San Francisco Bay area.
In 2011, Sandi was selected to participate in FLAUNT: 25 Exhibition and Artwalk, which featured top regional artists. Like many landscape artists, Sandi’s work uses light to capture the dance of nature. Her unique style is loose with the artist’s hand readily visible.
She invites you to visit her studio, and take one of her painting classes on Wednesday afternoons. Sandi also offers customized art activities for adults and children to help fill those open days of summer with creative adventures.
