When I first started creating art seriously, I gravitated more towards collages. I started by using magazine photos, and other found objects in my collages. Soon I began to experiment more with my own photographs, and other pieces of material that were personal to me. I also soon found my niche: to add embroidery to my pieces as both a unifying factor for collages, and also to add texture and emphasis to specific parts of paintings. By using my own photographs and other personal collected items, I made my art a record of my experiences and travels. I was the recipient of the 2012 Best and Brightest Award in the category of art, and I have had my art displayed at The Other Side vintage store, LeMoyne Art gallery, Radiology and Associates and Times Square NYC. I am currently attending FSU majoring in Hospitality management and Art History.
