South Georgia Ballet is a regional youth ballet company founded in 1998 by Alison Bundrick. It is designed to provide additional training and challenging performing opportunities necessary for the serious ballet dancer. Under the direction of Bundrick, Founder and Co-Artistic Director, and Melissa June, Co-Artistic Director and Outreach Education Program Director, South Georgia Ballet provides educational opportunities for area youth through partnerships with the Marguerite N. Williams Boys and Girls Club, the Thomasville Community Resource Center, the Jackie Robinson Boys and Girls Club as well as local school systems. Other enrichment programs include lecture demonstrations and workshops in the schools. SGB is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
